Responsibilities
- Clarify customer workflows, use cases and technical pain points and define project scope and solution direction
- Prepare proposals, technical specifications, effort estimates and delivery plans with distributed engineering teams
- Lead architecture and development decisions across PACS, medical image viewers and modality software
- Act as a seed member during project initiation and continue as a technical bridge when the engagement requires it
- Manage quality, risk, dependencies and stakeholder alignment across multiple parallel engagements
- Identify technical value opportunities in customer discussions and propose practical improvements or new services
Requirements
- 7+ years in software development, technical project management or an equivalent technical leadership role
- Hands-on medical or healthcare software domain experience is mandatory
- Expertise in at least one of PACS, medical image viewers or modality software
- Strong client-facing requirement analysis, solution design and distributed or offshore team-management experience
- Ability to discuss software architecture, SDLC, estimation, quality and delivery risk with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Business Japanese at JLPT N1-equivalent speaking level and professional English; applicants are assessed on capability, not nationality, and should be open to domestic travel
